I've been trying to capture some shots from an .AVI file I have on my computer, but it only shows up as a black screen, I'm running the .AVI in Windows Media Player and when I take the screenshot, all the Media Player controls show up just fine in the shot but the actual frame I'm trying to capture is not there.
I've tried just using the Print Screen key and then pasting into Paint Shop, I've tried every screen capture utility I have that I use for anything else, but still doesn't work, anyone know how I can make this happen?

No Paz, I've been trying the same thing with the same results.

I have discovered that I can use my Dazzle video workshop to capture stills from .AVI files, but they turn out quite fuzzy and look like crap, I've tried pasting them into PSP and cleaning them up, I can get them to look a little better but still not even close to photo quality.
Oh well, it was no big deal, I was just experimenting anyways, I suppose the quality of the original video has a lot to do with it, and the .AVI I'm messing with is kind of old with poor lighting, captured from a home recording made on an old VHS camera.
