This is a message directed mostly to pete. I was scrolling through the members here on this forum. I am quite dismayed to find all the members with
0
posts!! Undecided Shocked Undecided I would like to see either those numbers go up, or the members have thier membership terminated. And I don't mean to sound mad, but it really struck me.

Flyboy. I just spotted this. Hope you don't mind me butting in. I don't understand your objection. I used to visit many CFS & FS forums. Some forums require you to register to view the topics. The members you mention might find out what they came for & prefer not to contribute themselves.

The way I see it, that's their choice. I see no reason to terminate their membership. Everyone is welcome here. Wink

Hagar said it Exactly Wink

It also enables simviation to let more people know about any new developments by emailing forum members. I see zero harm in members with no posts.  8)

Grin Dear Flyboy 28,
Some of us less experienced people sometimes find these forums a tad overwhelming to say the least.

Therefore, we as a minority we do not want to make a twit of ourselves by posting things we may consider trivial or pointless. However, your be pleased to know that I will now throw caution to the wind to apease your anger and post at least once a day.

It is not raining in London at the moment

That little detail has not stopped many of us - we post anyway.

Here's an example. The reason my display name can't be simply 'Andrew' is because there's already an account username using it. The account is over 2 and a half years and there aren't any posts at all. Why can't accounts like that be deleted? I'm sure after 2 and a half years the person has pretty much forgotten about SimV

Simply put - there is no option in YABB (this forum program) to do this.

If I had a specific request to remove an individual member I could do that but not ask the forum to search for non contributors over a certain time period.....
