I've been having desktop maladies for quite a while and now have working perfectly....new internal HD and other important components...except for one thing:

When I went to reinstall my SuperBug it shows a requirement for  FSUIPC 4  from Peter Dowson's site.

No worries there, was an easy download and install.

The problem is that the SuperBug install disk stalls at the point where it reads "...can not locate the  FSUIPC 4, please go to this website and download it..."

http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

My suspicion is that the FSUIPC 4 is installed in the wrong area in FSX.

If anyone knows what place to move it to that to so it works, or at least found by the Bug's install disk, I would be very much obliged!!!

CryI want my Bug back. Cry

Thanx in advance!

If I am not mistaken That file is usually in the module folder Wink
One other note for some strange reason some programs require that they be in the same folder as the file that they need is in. Whether this program that does I have no idea Sad

This file is usually located in the module folder of FSX
However there are some programs that require that they be ran in the same folder as the file they need is in. I have no idea if this program is one that does. Cool

Thank you all very much! Smiley

I still have a bit of rebuild to go so I can't check it out for a while.  Last thing I did was download the FSUIPC and let it self install.  That's when I got the stalled install 'cause it said it couldn't find it.

Again, Thanks for the replies....I'll let y'all know how things work out.

Well, the silly thing will not let me past the "browse" screen.  It hits me with a with a 'can not find FSUIPC4..... Press ALT in flight.....' Undecided

I'd love to press alt in flight but I can't get past the "Browse For Foder" window.

Signed, thankful for Advil makers....and y'all too! Smiley
