I have added 2 new texture sets to the SHRS F-111 package. They are the NASA and NASA AFTI F-111A (G model standing in for the A)
The question is now what to do with them. Should I upload them as an add-on set? However I have made changes to all the texture sets.

Should I upload the whole aircraft package again with the only major changes being textures?

Or should I just let those who want them get the package from my website possibly killing my bandwidth for the month?  Sad

Wow .... looks great!!  Cool Cool Cool Cool

You will always get a greater audience by including a whole package. Believe it or not the majority of folk out there don't like messing about adding textures, editing config files etc .... they just want the whole aircarft and the more textures and flashing lights the more they will download it.

Feel free to upload textures but I would think it would be easier for everyone if you just upload it as a full package ..... 'v whatever' ... same as Dino Cattaneo does.

.... and keep up the great work!  Cool

I'd just add the textures and instructions on how to add. Most FSX people already know the routines.

BTW, thanks for the excellent F-111!

The answer is a new complete package. My partner is back to work and we have new feature that will be added as well.  Smiley

If only that was true...... Wish it was ..  Only about 2% of simviation users ever use the forums and textures only files get a fraction of the downloads a whole package ...... The hard  core FSX users are not typical FSX users. Most users don't even get addons ....

.... & Steve ... Look forward to the new package  Cool

Looking at some time in March for the release. Update will include Acceleration and SP2 configs, bug fixes, more warning and caution lights, three new texture sets and texture updates, wingtip vortices that follow wing sweep, smoke effect that turns on and off with each engine, Auto TF improvements, fully functional TFR E scope display, and hopefully a nice surprise.
