Goodly morning all... Smiley

I just recently redownloaded Microsoft Deluxe FSX again.

This computer was built to use Microsoft FSX only so there are no other games on it at all.

Operating System
Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) service pack 1

Processor
3.30 gigahertz Intel Core i5-2500K
256 kilobyte primary memory cache
1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache
6144 kilobyte tertiary memory cache
64-bit ready
Multi-core (4 total)
Not hyper-threaded

Drives
3320.52 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity
3174.87 Gigabytes Hard Drive Free Space

Memory Modules
8174 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory

Display
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 [Display Adapter]

Installed Programs
Orbx USA Canada Pacific Northwest
        USA Canada Pacific Fjords
REX2 Essential + Overdrive
Flight 1 Ultimate Terrain X Canada
            Ground Environment X
             USA Canada Alaska
Texture Booster Pro FSX
SHO-160 Shockwave Lights
Four Payware Aircraft

BOJOTE'S Tweaking & Tuning Tool

Windows Experience Index is 5.9
5.9 Primary hard disk  Disk transfer rate

The other readings are 7.5, 7.6, 7.9 & 7.9...all good

Questions:
Why while during a simulated flight and I pause the computer to change Time, Season or Aircraft does the computer stop running the simulated flight and the Microsoft Error pops up saying it is checking for a solution to the problem?

I never do see a solution.

Am I running too many program additions to Microsoft FSX Deluxe?

Is it possible REX is intervening with the simulated flight when I try to change Time, Season or Aircraft and causing the simulated flight to quit thus bringing up the Microsoft Error?

Does something on the computer need to be upgraded?

Thanks in advance... Wink

Hey, Doug Smiley

I get "fatal errors" every now and then. Always when I'm using the on-screen menus Huh
I can't come up with a reason either Tongue

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

That is exactly when I get them also Chuck... Smiley

What is really annoying is when it takes thirty or more minutes to program the simulated flight and then you go to move the time ahead and the Fatal Error comes on...

Thanks Chuck... Wink
