I use Plan-G v2.05 on both FSX and FS 2004, with no problems at all.

I particularly avoid Version 3 of Plan-G, .....for various reasons!... Wink...!

Read the Plan-G User Manual!

Have a read through the Plan-G Forums, Your problems will/may probably be explained there!

Paul...FS 2004+ FS Nav+ Plan-G v2.05... Cool...!

P.S...Don't forget to run the FSX Database first!

I did run the data FSX base.

Neither the v2 or v3 connects.

I am at a loss as I read all the info but will not connect.

Thank you.

I would recommend joining the Plan-G Forum, and asking your questions there. I think your problem is a common one, and has been answered on the forum before, by Admin.
Some problems require some specialist advice there.
I only use a simple ADSL Modem (no Router), which enables me to connect easily and instantly every time, FS 2004 and FSX, on-line Multiplayer and off-line!.

Try the Forum!

in the forum had no luck.

By connect I do not mean to the net, is the connecting PlanG to FSX, when you click on the PlanG button to connect the two & show the plane at the airport you are on & then it follows your flight path.

Excellent!...

Note that Version 3.0 does not contain the Google Satellite, etc, maps. (for copyright? reasons).

If you wish to use/enjoy the Google Maps, install version 2.0.5
