Flying Trucker wanted to compare the way the rain looks in each of our sims using REX+OD to see if his was working properly. I think he may have given up on it, but since I already took the shots......
Here ya go, Doug
This was a short hop from Omak (KOMK) to Tonasket (W01) in Washington state.
The weather is set to "Stormy Weather" in the FSX weather menu and my weather setting is on "High" in the FSX/options/display/weather menu.
The first thing I notice, Doug is that my rain does not appear as prominent as yours does. (Maybe due to different zoom levels)
In some of these shots you can barely see the rain......
Sittin' on the tarmac......buildin' courage to go flying into the wind and wet
Up, up and away!!
At around 6,000 ft AGL....still pissin' and blowin'. At least there's no lightning
Descending to make my approach.....
Touchin' down with 21
mph
kt crosswind.....lots of rudder, upwind wheel first
I was way off center, but glad to be on the runway.
Thanks 4 looking

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Excellent shots as usual !
A bit too blueish maybe ? Is it an effect from REX ? Weather-dependent ?
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

@Flying Trucker.......anytime, Doug
@Daube.........yeah, they're really blue. I have just gotten used to it
It's an ENB Bloom edit from the REX forum. I've since switched to the "Sunlight" one

Dear Administrators: Why is Chuck allowed to post photos and claim they're from his sim ? Hmmmmm
