Heads-up!

How many times have you swapped from "Nav" to "Heading" using Autopilot on your Radio, and suddenly found yourself swung on a totally different course!

Another one of those useful tips..Wink...!

I once had a situation many moons ago where I was controlling the autopilot with the heading bug. After a while, the five second delay in the autopilot following the demand on the bug was really bugging me(excuse the pun!).

Only about half an hour later did it dawn on me: the captain's side autopilot was in, and he was doing his heading bug exactly 5 seconds after mine, to see how long it took me to notice - hence the delay! Grin
