I downloaded some of the ORBX freeware and this is NOT something I would expect from ORBX... even freeware, so I'm guessing somehow I messed up the installation. what to do?

Could you be a little more specific?  It's a little hard to see anything from your screenie.

Looks like there is an elevation problem (raised) at the runway end and crossing taxiway??

Which ORBX download is it?

It's an airport elevation adjustment problem. I see I created an elevation-adjustment.bgl for for CEJ4 so it would fit surrounding CEJ4 scenery elevation.

These freewares are designed to fit the payware scenery area (CEJ4 is in FTX-NRM). In this case the payware's airport elevation is different than the FSX default airport. If you do not have FTX-NRM and due to the way FSX reads an airport's elevation, an elevation-adjustment.bgl is needed to override the default airport elevation.

If you have Scruffyduck's ADE9X airport editor you can create one.

I thought it was just me! Cheesy  You know, the ol' noob can't install everythin' correct all the time sorta thing.

CEJ4 has the runway and taxiway about 15' above the surrounding area as it currently exists. Undecided  I've undone and redone the install (and download) a few times with the same results each time. Cry

My little 152 doesn't mind it all that much, excepty for the uphill return to the runway.  But my Howard and 310 and the like end up belly-up terminal either going up to or coming down from the run/taxiway drops.

Is there a way to fix this for someone with limited .bgl correction capability?  If there is, or a simple way for me to go into and either fix or FUBAR, a suggestion or two and I would apreciate any assist>

Thanx!  (actually ManY THANX!) in advance!
