Goodly evening all...
Old girl is playing Bridge with three other old nattering nannies so I got some time to play with FSX.
Only into a hour of a programmed simulated flight and took a few shots.
I have remembered my dads words many times.
Use the KISS principle son:
KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID = KISS
So this simulated flight started off at dusk and flying it's way into the night.
The aircraft is the trusty FSX Cessna 172.
Have completed the first leg.
FSX and Windows 7
REX Essential
ORBX Scenery
FSWC...Flight Simulator Water Configurator set to night
water
Season...Summer
Time is Dusk
Weather... IFR with some scattered VFR breaks and a few
rain showers mixed in...makes for an
interesting simulated flight...
Altitude....5000FT.
The FSX Cessna 172 with autopilot is a wonderful dependable aircraft to practice a little IFR and night flying on the computer.
Comments and advice most appreciated...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Hi Paul...thanks for the comments...
We never owned a Cessna 152 but had several C150s.
The C172 gives you good luggage/baggage room for two people, a little more elbow room up front and I would say it would be like comparing a two seat car to a four seat sedan....

Very nice shots Doug, I like the atmosphere in them. Made me want to fly the 172 once more
Too bad I'm away from my gaming computer for the next two weeks
By the way, the guy who made the "damage mod" for that Cessna has posted a new video showing AccuFeel-like freeware features (shaking upon stall, more violent turbulences effect...). This and the previous version of the damage mod (freeware accusim) makes the default C-172 much more interesting and immersive
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

All are veddy nice, except for #3.....
......it's exceptionally nice. I love the moody lookin' shots that I can head-movie a story about.
#3 is like looking at an exhibit at an art gallery. The longer I look at it the more its "story" starts coming to light.
......my wife thinx Ima bit daft too...especially when I stare (study!) at a picture for a while.....
I love the smell of radials in the morning!

Amazing shots! I love the coloring you got in there! Wonderful detail on the water! #5 looks a bit oversaturated though.
