For some reason I cannot open other exits. Usually, you hit Shift+E+2 or whatever number you want for an exit. However, for all my aircraft, when I hit Shift+E+2 the sim seems to ignore the number and just operates the main exit (shift+e). I have noticed that I cannot do the steering in push-back mode either which normally operates a similar way.

So it seems for some reason FS9 now wont recognize the number.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Press [shift+E], release BOTH keys and then press 2. The same holds true for 3 and 4 if the aircraft has additional exits/doors.

You can open multiple doors in one sequence, example: Press [Shift+E], release, then 1, then 2, then 3, then 4, will open all available exits/doors.

Numbers are those on the top row, not the NumPad.

Maybe check the 'Controls' assignments for the 'Select Item...' Events to see if they're still assigned to keys 1,2,3, and 4.

That could also explain why your Pushback steering doesn't work.
