Here's the Grumman Goose that I finished...
Detailed radial engines...
I built the landing gear the "complex" way...
I'm also working on this Piper Cub... I put a motor in it and should have some fun flying it... Maybe someday I'll make an RC aircraft...
Custom battery compartment... Made of paper...
The landing gear... (The wheels roll! So maybe it'll survive landing without me having to repair it!
)
Thanks for looking!
This... Is Rio.
Loud and talkative Bengal cat. He's not ours; his owner lives two houses down, but he wanders around the neighborhood getting food and talking to his human friends. He'll sometimes get into a fight if he meets another cat though... But it's rare because he's kicked out all other cats in the neighborhood. He thinks all the houses are his too...
I came up with the name "ilikerio" way back in 4th grade, and I've used it with most user accounts ever since.

I must ask... How well do they fly, and does the Goose float?
You certainly have more patience than I do, but nice work. I might give it a shot one day!

Without a motor, they don't fly too good... But with the motor, they sometimes fly until the battery dies! I built a Cessna and put a tiny motor in it (about half the size of this Cub!) and it flew for about 5 flights. Then I launched it wrong... It stalled and smashed nose first into the driveway. The propeller broke and the motor doesn't work too good. Not to mention that the entire model was destroyed...
For this Cub I'll attach a long string to it, just in case it goes too far out.
The Goose should float... Maybe I'll built a flying Goose and takeoff from the pool... It's made from really thick paper, so it should survive for a while before sinking.
Yeah... A lot of patience... I got angry twice and destroyed two Gooses. Finally got the third one right...

The Cub is finished!
I'll tell you how the first flight is. Hopefully it's not its last...
As you can see, not all of the parts were printed to the same scale...
