"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Well, no autogen is a show stopper for me, especially in such a region.
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

I noticed that.........not very good representation of the product at all. The shots also make the scenery look blurry when it is not.
The settings on their test machine must have been awfully low
I have lived in WA State for 28 years and have seen nearly all of it over the years. I know what I should be seeing when I'm over an area and in my opinion OrbX dropped the ball with their PNW series. Especially the NRM product. Towns are out of place or non existant, landclass is all wrong (Eastern WA is a very rocky). Their airports are very well done, but I only spend a few minutes at the airport. The rest of the time is spent in the air looking at the scenery, and if I'm not seeing what's really there then why bother? I have actually uninstalled all of my OrbX add ons because I am just not impressed anymore

It happens often. Some people are no able to sell their own products. Will you post (or have you already posted) some screenshots anywhere here about this scenery ? I would be curious to see how it looks like ? I won't buy that probably, since I'm enjoying PNW too much, but it's just for seeing.
You lived in this area for 28 years ? Well, I don't know if I should say "lucky guy" or not. The region looks fantastic, but I heard the weather is even more awfull than the Switzerland one...
Concerning OrbX, I don't really know for NRM, but PNW landclass is extremely close to what I can see in Google Earth. From what you are saying, NRM is far from this level of quality ? I was considering buying PFJ in a near future, I hope its quality will be closer to PNW than NRM...

From my flights around the demo area with plan-g set to satelite even the PNW demo does seem accurate.
But I'm not sure so....

I would have to agree with Chuck that ORBX is unrealistic.
ORBX is designed for looks, not realism. In NZSI they made the grass look like its been painted fluorescent green & made buildings twice or even triple the Actual size.

PNW is the closest definately. I also thought that PFJ was pretty good too, but like I said NRM is a disappointment. I wonder if the developers have even been here to see what it actually looks like......doubt it
As for screenies.....I've posted hundreds here at SimV of WA photoreal. I'll dig some up
