This thread is being posted with the intention of letting members list their favorite
payware
add ons for FSX/FS9. There is also a freeware add on sticky in the FSX section.
If you're going to add to the list, please specify which sim it's for and provide a link to the item you're recommending.
Here's a couple of my favorites:
REX for FSX/FS9
VRS Superbug for FSX

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

This kind of topic is always a little bit difficult to handle I think. If we want to list here the BEST payware addons, the notion of "BEST" has to be discussed, else we will soon find payware addons which are in fact not so good, and for the end user, this list will not be so helpfull anymore
For example, some people might add some planes just because they look good, even if they are terrible on all other aspects, making them a bad payware product. For example, I recently bougth some of the Virtavia products, and soon I realized it was a mistake. They look good, yes, and that's pretty much all about them...
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

I agree. IE Virtavia's F-111, read my review here.

I agree with Daube, and it will also be a personal option of whats best. I only buy something if i'm convinced its good.
I bought the A2A accusim p-51 after being convinced, and i must say, my creditcard came at work.
Looking forward for your f-111 Steve.

That is exactly the point, Stephane.
The thread is for members to post what in their opinion is the best payware out there. You don't have to agree with them
Maybe we should change the heading to "Favorite Payware" instead of "Best Payware", but I don't really see the point
It will always be about opinion, I'm sure that I like some aircraft that others don't like......it's inevitable.

.
Well I sure hope you don't run out and buy things just because a total stranger told you it was good
I'd like to think that most people have the sense to do a little research before they buy
This is just a list for newcomers to browse and compare what's out there.
I know that when i first started simming, I didn't know about 90% of the quality payware products out there and I ended up with a lot of garbage.
Let's not clutter this thread with a pointless debate.

Sorry to add more clutter, but I wanted to add my 2 cents here. It is really nice to have a thread of what others think are great add ons for Flight Simulator, that way it is easy to find.

This is very well built, programmed and all around stunning. The VC and outside textures are done by McPhat studios.
