Goodly afternoon all... Smiley

It has been awhile since I have touched the Flight Simulator so with the old girl out with a few other nattering nannies I decided to give FSX another try... Grin

My preference for real aviating has always been Dawn and then Evening... Wink
I found the air much more calm, sunrise and sunset made for aviators and the water, usually calm... Wink

FSX and Windows 7
REX 2
Flight Sim Water Configurator
ORBX Scenery
Aircraft:  Cessna 185 Bush by Carenado
Livery:    Simviation Downloads
Season:   Summer and Time is late Dawn
Location:  Friday Harbour, Washington State, USA

10 degrees of flap...by gosh I am late this morning...the sun is almost up... Shocked
...

On the climb...
...

Still climbing...
...

At altitude over Friday Harbour...
...

Some puffy wuffies to play in and around... Grin
...

All too soon the hour is up and heading back to the dock...
...

Comments and advice most welcome... Wink

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Wow !! Shocked

What can I say ? The first three are excellent.

The fourth one is quite good too, perhaps it might have been a good idea to put a little bit (justa little bit) of bank angle, so that the upper side of the wings get some sun light too, to increase the contrast with the ground. You did that in the fifth one in fact, and it looks good too Smiley

Last shot is just cool. The colors are a bit "drug-style", but good nevertheless  Grin Grin

..and you've left your "Shades" at home!... Shocked...!

Paul....Warm, Sunny, mid-day, excellent visibility, for me!... Grin... Grin...!

Fantastic set, Doug Cool Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
