Just finished installing FSX Gold and am quite pleased with what I see.
With FS9 and FSX Delux I used FS Genesis, US, Canada and Alaska.  I would appreciate suggestions relating to "new or improved" addon Scenery, free or payware which some of you have experience with.   
I have been away from FS for several years however, I started with the Original FS and have purchased each new Sim as they became available.  I fly Recips from the 40's thru the 60"s  (showing my age) along the old Low Altitude ADF/VOR Airways which I grew up with.
My A/C include the D18,DC3/6/7 and the Connies.  I try to replicate the conditions that existed then.
