Seriously - not my headline:
http://perezhilton.com/2012-06-21-beyonce-jay-z-plane-fathers-day-blue-ivy-carte...
A Challenger 850. Which, to remind you, is a pimped CRJ200.
Quote:
"The Bombardier Challenger 850 has a flash interior including a cream leather living room, a kitchen, a bedroom and two bathrooms… Beyoncé thought this would be the perfect way to show Jay how much of a great dad he is."
A bedroom. Since they probably do **** (for one, she somehow conceived, for another, she is married to him) and the plane contains a suitable bedroom, that Challenger 850 is clearly a "fucking" plane.
Does this Challenger come with Gama infant seat/s?
http://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/aviation-international-news/2012-06-05/ga...
The cost of a Challenger 850 (MTOW 24 t, range 5200 km) is US$ 32 million without customization and near US$ 40 million with it.
Which plane would you ask for yourself for ******* and impregnating a pretty woman? At US$ 40 million?
In similar range, there are some smaller but longer ranged frames, too. Like Challenger 600 (price around US$ 25 million, MTOW 19 t, range 6200 km) and Falcon 900 (price around US$ 36 millions, MTOW 21 t, range 7400 km).
If you operate 1 stand-up cabin jet in the household, who would you prefer to be the owner? Yourself or your wife?
Would you like to operate 2 or more stand-up cabin jets in your family?

Bah I would rather have an Extra 300 or a Sukhoi 26... Why would I want a plane if I couldn't pilot it?
People just don't know what to do with all their money...
Up is the way to go.

Some people view these things as "must have status symbols", people like us view them as a way of life. That's the difference... Only John Travolta has mixed it up properly

Jup,I'd rather have a f-15 or an aerobatic and a pilot license then a lear with a pilot.

Really no need for that kind of language on here. So some one richer than you bought a jet, happens every day.

Pretty classy "bling", if you ask me... they have good taste. Better than some godawful mansion or a solid gold yacht...
And it's really not an extravagant personal gift... if you consider the possible layers of creative book-keeping possible, not to mention the resale value, it's probably an investment venture between their two companies that will make them both richer. Remember, Jay-Z and Beyonce are not "people" in the sense that you and I are... they are "brands."

Moderators asleep at the joystick? I don't talk like that in front of my friends or family, and especially not in front of my kids. They're 28 and 10 years old. I don't appreciate seeing crude language here on Simviation. If people can't express themselves without obscenities, something's wrong.
