"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

If the poem is written on a Budweiser label he/she won't have any problem reading it.

Hmm.... I still can't tell if I'm a redneck or if I somehow managed to get a permanent sunburn on the back of my neck, which would be amazing as I never go outside.

Hey Club! If you cut your grass and find a car or two, you may be a redneck.
Otherwise, you're cool!

I haven't got grass. I got a nice section of forest. As for what's in it,
as for the cars, running ones, just cars in general, or parts?
I've found plenty of old carberators, a fuel tank, a pair of headlights, a hood, some engine (nice and shiny), and old engine, a few tires, and, interestingly, what I'm pretty sure is some old makeshift light pole for drag races! Made out of cans of beer with holes, some now long dead grass, what I THINK is lemonade, and a tomato.
I also found a rusty ol' truck without tires and an engine. I'm thinkin' of putting the big shiny one in it and thos weird tires I found on it.

I have a Pontiac Fiero Formula on cement blocks at my Dad's house. Am I a redneck? In the words of the wise sailor Popeye...."I yam what I yam."
Here are some supporting lyrics from the group 'Theory of a Dead Man'
"Lowlife"
You know I'll be the one who gets fallin' down drunk
At my neighbor kid's soccer game
I've got an
'82 Fiero
with a car seat in the middle
Broken down on the Interstate

... & there are plenty of 'Lowlife's' living in grand mansions & snootily riding horses (being a 'snob' is certain 'lowlife') .. or with their own private jets .. etc ..
The penny falls at random in life. But good people can be found anywhere.
