Well, I have finally finished this project. I tried to go for a ship deck-ish type of look. My good lady wife is still asking where it will be put in the house. If she had her way it would be in the garage or cellar.........

Revell, and I have to say, it went together well with a minimal amount of filler.

Very nice!
One question though, what does the '100' mean on the nose? I have seen that done to represent the number of kills on fighters, but something tells me a 196 did not get that many aerial kills
Would it be number of missions then?

Thanks for the kind words Chaps
And to answer wahubna, This aircraft was assigned to Bordfliegergruppe 194 on board of German battle ship Tirpitz, Summer 1943. As far as I know, it identifies the aircraft as being with the Turpitz.

The Arado is from the normal
Revell range
. I have never seen the "pro modeller" range. I assume they are a produced for the USA market. Having Googled them, I will check them out when I am State side in 4 weeks. As for the catapult, that is a made to order kit from HPH in the Czech Republic. I ordered mine directly from the company and the wait was around two months. They are no longer on the HPH website and as they are a limited production run, I think that they are now not made. It is possible to get them on the Internet from a few companies. As they are no longer made, the price is reflecting
this.
I paid half of what is now being asked.
