That one in Idaho turned out way better than one could expect. Rare indeed to have survivors walk away from a crash in tall timber on steep slopes!!  Shocked
The pilot did it just right- let the wings take the brunt of the initial impact.
For those folks, I'd say it was a very good weekend, all things considered.  Grin

Hmm, i read today that the two in the san diego incident were not hurt, and were in the water just a few minutes before boaters nearby picked them up. They had an engine failure and made a water landing in san diego bay.

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

..on a similar report...>>>

I often think back now, about the number of times I went trekking, on my own, in wild, mountainous places, when I was younger.
You never think of the consequences of suffering an illness or accident, etc, and you have no companion to assist you!
(No Mobile Phones in those days!)
I even used to go Caving underground...on my own!

Wandering around on your own can be lethal...I now realise...(take a friend!)... Wink...!

Ah just patch her up with some duck tape and she'll fly again.
