NO !
It's a totally new plane. That's why it's called WoP3, and not WoP2
The WoP3 Mustang is a new model, with a new VC, new gauges, new sounds, new flight model etc... The Accusim extension is made for the WoP3 Mustang only, it cannot be applied on the old WoP2 Mustang.
However, if you have the pruchased WoP2 Mustang in the past, then A2A offers you a -8 dollars reduction when you buy the WoP3 Mustang, which is quite nice.

Well, been in touch with Lewis A2A. He will refund my payment on the accu-sim WoP, if i dont like it.
That i call service! I dl the p-51 and its looking good.
Now Daube, could you tell me, should i keep the accu-sim?
Whats the difference? Where do you see a $25 improvement? Is the gauges that better? As far as i can hear, the sound outside dont compare with cockpit sound!
As you know, just forcing myself to fly virtual

.... This makes the WoP2 P-51, into an actual P-51. Gauges are better, sounds are from the real thing, and flight dynamics are translated from a real P-51 into the FS one. The Aircraft systems are like the real P-51, meaning you can't firewall the throttle all the time or the engine blows up

Yes, YES it is, definitely.
Let me say it simply: without Accusim, that Mustang is just a regular plane. Could be IRIS, could be Virtavia, could be whatever, it would be just a regular plane with regular features, just like any plane for FSX or FS9.
With Accusim however, it becomes the top-of-the-top of the realism, immersion and level of details (including functionnal details, not just visual details).
Please take a look to my topic "Mustangs Part 2" in the payware section of the forum. Inside, I have written a precise description of what Accusim implies for a plane. You will understand what we are talking about.

Accusim is a gift from god. I've flown many payware aircraft that are said by many to be as real as it gets, including PMDG, Real Air, Level-D, etc., and I'm going to say it, but I think A2A has them all out-done in bringing me the most realistic flight simming experience yet through Accusim.
I mean, it's absolutely mind-blowing what it can do. The torque from starting piston engine really rocks the aircraft along, and the vibrations when the engine is fouling or running rough totally brings on a new level of immersion. The hydraulic systems behave so realistically that it almost feels that fluid is actually running through the lines inside the aircraft. If you're flying a Merlin, the engine actually complains to you when it stops sucking in oil after you roll your plane inverted for so many seconds. The struggles of starting the engine in cold weather, and the strain you can put onto the starter if you leave it running for too long. A lot of this stuff I didn't even know was possible to do in a flight sim.
For $25, Accusim is a golden investment that is easily worth more than what you put out.
Cheers,
RB

You have no idea how much you will LOVE it, trust me
One advise from my side: keep the manual for learning the "additionnal" details. If you want to get comfortable with the aircraft but have no knowledge about it yet, then you should start with watching the videos that A2A has produced. They are the greatest tutorials ever.
In fact, I think I have never read any manual for any of my Accusim planes. The presentation/preview videos were always efficient enough to teach me how to start and use a plane.
These videos exist for almost all of the Accusim planes. They trully are a great source of knowledge. If you are curious, I advise you to take a look to the videos that they made for the Spitfire, especially the one that explains the various existing prop types (yes, for the Spitfire you can actually choose the kind of prop that you want to use: wooden fix prop, two-speeds metal prop, contant-speed metal prop). The explanations are really well made and almost "easy" to understand.

It took me two or three times to really understand everything, but once I got it, I was really happy to finally know how these propeelers are really working. Playing with the Spitfire was even more interesting afterwards. On the Spitfire Mk.I, you can choose between a wooden prop and the two-speeds variable pitch prop. On the Spitfire Mk.II, you can choose between the wooden one and the constant speed one. I've been making quite a old of experiments. Also, the sound of this Spitfire was quite enjoyable.
Anyways, I'm really curious to read your first feedbacks when you will finally get the Mustang installed. Keep in mind the installation order:
- first you must install the WoP3 Mustang.
- then you can install the Accusim extention for the WoP3 Mustang
- and finally you have to install the Accusim core update 1.3.1 that can be downloaded from the A2A forums.
Always launch the installs by right-clicking and selecting "run as an administrator", for safety.
If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
