Part II of my Mogwai
Shade
  shots.

Part I

Thanks to Daube for bringing this add on to my attention Cool

I haven't had the chance to tweak it any (I think it's a little dark) but here are some preliminary shots Smiley

Compare to shots from yesterday with no Shade:
/yabb?num=1338087321

The shade behind mountains really brings photoreal scenery to life Shocked

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

So you did it ? I'm almost feeling guilty now  Grin
I love the effect it has on your scenery, but I think the plane is a bit obscure. As you said, there are MANY settings to play with, results will vary.
I'll buy it during this week certainly. Thanks for these nice screens  Cool

PS: Just bought it, couldn't resist. I....am....so....weak  Tongue  Cheesy
Expect some screens in the coming days.

Thanks guys Cool

@Stephane.......don't feel too guilty. Then again, one of the main reasons I took the plunge is because you seemed to think highly of Shade and your opinion is usually spot on Wink

The plane definately looks a little "off". A little fiddlin' around with the settings should fix it though Cool

Thanks again for the heads up.

As well as darken the shadows in the scenery, is it possible to bathe the remainder of the scene, in summer-time; "brilliant, glowing sunshine", under a clear blue sky?

I tried the effect with GE Pro...but that just brightens up ALL the scenery, with no contrast!

Paul... Cool...!

...still looking for all those bright Corn Fields!
