when I go to select plane. I've noticed that about half way down, the plane doesnt match the bird that loads. I.E. a cessna, if I select it, the plane next to it (right) loads.

anyone had this type of issue before?

Locate the aircraft the name shift starts at in your airplane folder open the folder and check it's texture folder(s).  Most likely it's missing the "thumbnail" jpg.  All you need to do it grab a screenshot, shrink it using any image editor, name the small screenshot "thumbnail" put it in the texture folder(s) Do that for each texture folder if there is more than one texture for that aircraft.

For some reason, FSX will usually place a generic icon in the selection pane, but some times it dosesn't, and that causes the "name shift".
