ALS Su-27B "Flanker"
Scenery: Default FSX
Next morning, I decided to continue on from Sochi on the Black Sea and transit the Caucasus to the Caspian Sea, staying on the Russian side of the Russia/Georgia border (less political fallout that way). Just a few from that flight:

She handles well with a good thrust to weight ratio. Makes getting there a lot of fun.

Great shots.......smooth lookin' bird, almost organic looking.
As opposed to the more modern angular looking fighters like the F-22.
Very cool
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Chuck,
To my mind, she remains one of the lovliest birds in the air.

Sweet lookin' craft ya got there. Nothing says 'Hello there' like a complement of large economy-size missiles.
But with that whatever-it-is hangin' out back between the pipes, shouldn't she be called a he?
I love the smell of radials in the morning!
