Wow fozzer.
You turned anti-alising on...
I always have "Anti-aliasing" (and Shadows) selected in my FS 2004 (and FSX)...and my Graphics Card.
It makes my images sharper, and prevents the effect of trees and Runways; "shimmering" in the distance!
It has no adverse effect on my FS 2004 Frame rates...

The only jet fighter ever made that could have an engine flame out and still fly in a straight line without any adjustment
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I don't think AA is off. Some AC I have do that with a particular livery. The body lines will be sleek but the texture in which they painted from certain angles give off a jaggie vibe.
Nice shot Fozz

The reason it looks like AA is off is because it's FS9. (Which is not Very Good.
)
Nice shot Paul.

Actually...after Daube mentioned it, I re-checked my FS 2004 Hardware setting, and for some reason, Anti-aliasing had mysteriously switched itself off...very strange!

Interesting to note the 'sim people' in the background
there appears to be two gentlemen in white shirts who are joined at the hip
and some unfortunate type next to them who looks like hes 'unscrewing' his head. Or probably covering his ears up

Interesting also, in my Lightning screenshot thing i did which i linked to in Ozzys post about the FSX Lightning, i added this under one of my shots :-.....
"In British Airways trials in April 1985, Concorde was offered as a target to NATO fighters including F-15 Eagles, F-16 Fighting Falcons, F-14 Tomcats, Mirages, F-104 Starfighters - but only Lightning XR749, flown by Mike Hale and described by him as "a very hot ship, even for a Lightning", managed to overtake Concorde on a stern conversion intercept. The XR749 now resides at the entrance of Score Group plc's gas turbine testing and servicing facility in Peterhead, Scotland."
Odd in fact, to note, the Lightning in your Shot is indeed, XR749.....

I know...
...!
Its a funny old do..but I have FS 2002, FS 2004, and FSX on my hard drive, and I regularly run all of them at different times.
They each have their own slight differences, and delights!
...but I constantly get dragged back, kicking and screaming, to the final comfort of my FS 2004...
..there is something;.. .."Homely"...about it!...
...!
I'm going to have a basin-full of FSX in a minute, (whilst Dins is cooking), but you can bet your boots, I will be back to FS 2004 by this afternoon!...
...!
Paul...
...
...!
I have "UT USA" for both FS 2004 and FSX...
..what do I like about FSX?....
The moving traffic on the roads...(its "fixed" on my FS 2004)...and the ability to use ATC during Multiplayer sessions.... (Not possible in FS 2004)...
...
..otherwise...
