Good evening all... Smiley

I believe Windows Live Mail is what is on my Windows 7 and used for my e-mail.

Where I am having a problem is folks keep sending me these things about aircraft and I can't seem to get them to a New Folder in My Documents.

I have tried:
-move to folder
-copy to folder

but these are all in the Windows Live Mail itself.

I would like to know how to save these e-mails from my Inbox to somewhere else on my computer.

Any help would be most welcome.

Please keep it simple... Grin

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Windows Live Mail is software running on the desktop, not in a browser. It is a free version of Microsoft Outlook. That is, unless you were going to ask a different question.

Interestingly, today I was locked out of my Mail and Hotmail accounts, because they thought my account had gone rogue  Roll Eyes  Top tip: Regularly update your 'recovery email address' so that you can verify your accounts!

Doug, I'm not entirely sure of the question. Can you walk me through the process of what you're doing to download the emails or attachments? I use Mail on a daily basis, but I've not come across these features that you speak of.

Okay folks...got the problem solved... Smiley

One of our grandchildren walked me through it and they are not even in their teenage years yet... Grin

What I do is:

-go to the left top corner of my e-mail

-right click on the folder

-use Save As

-send to the Folder in my Documents

-it works.... Grin

And here I was just Right Clicking on the E-Mail and trying to send it to a Folder.... Roll Eyes

Thanks for the replies... Wink
