Goodly morning all...
The ice is almost all gone in this area but of course farther north the lakes and rivers are still frozen over.
The city put in the Marina Docks this year and the start of a new 600 Dock Marina with Float/Seaplane facilities is about to start...we hope.
So, many bugsmasher will turn in their tires for floats.
Thought I would post a great little thread on Water Aviating.

Enjoy...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

An excellent read, Doug...

You couldn't tell it by the weather in Indiana. The highs have been in the lower 50's and we're still looking at freeze warnings at night. It's almost MAY for gosh sakes! We're paying now for that warm weather we had back in March...

The odd day last week we saw a few snow flakes but mostly it has been nice.
We do need the spring rains for the farmer right now and not much in the forecast for rain this week.

Geez, it's been rough here in Atlanta with the 80 degree temps. It makes girl-watching from the porch ALMOST a sweaty proposition.
