Downloaded XSeafire.zip by Danny Garnier.

Again some failures in uploading fsx planes.
(I didn't need to take a picture, this is from his zip file.)

...

As you can see, some gauges flying in "the air"
I tried to mess around with the panel.cfg but no luck, and i even tried to find Danny and then give him a mail or pm, no luck.
Maybe he see this then!

From what I remember, this Seafire from Aeroplane Heaven has quite a nice virtual cockpit. Using the 2D panel in such a plane is perhaps not the best choice, in my opinion.

In FSX SP2 or Acceleration, I believe the only problem that this plane had was that the prop was not transparent, or perhaps not "enough" transparent, but for the gauges and effects, everything was working fine. It was a very nice plane, not so easy to land on a carrier by the way. I have used this plane for a while before switching to his payware brother.

Alrot. I hope i can call you MY VERY GOOD FREIND.  Smiley
You are good...

In the earlier days i had a program managing gauges and panels, so maybe i should search for one again!

And Daube, you've made me more and more using 3d panel! Its quite interesting and sure make your "toes up" in flight. Wink

Once againg, i sure hope uploaders would check their stuff, before sending it out.

bass ,dany gardnier does not make airplanes ,"he fix them"  Roll Eyes

Its very easy for me to remove/add gauges to 2d panel I use FSX Panel Studio Software which allows me to move /add anything in a 2d panel,(I also use it for VC)

I don't know too much about military Vintages war birds
if I knew how are the buttons and switches of this airplane I would fix it properly

You might not realise that this is the ex-payware FS9 Seafire III by Aeroplane Heaven. Not sure why it needed "fixing" in the first place. As Daube pointed out the original panel works very well in FSX & the gauges will be more authentic.

Original 2D panel & gauges.

Original VC & gauges.

Sorry but some of these unofficial FSX updates leave a lot to be desired.

Hager, you just hit the spot. That's the reason i show some dl's not fit to do the job in fsx.

Here's my quick rework on the 2d panel with a panel sw

...

I now need to learn how to make changes in vc panels too.

I dl'd Corsair_Dbolt.zip by Scrub. Now that i can understand, its a beauty.  Smiley

I just got the free seafire from "heaven" and i like it. They even put in a fsx exe file.

One bug tho. There's some funny yellow blinks at the right of the aircraft! I've manage to get a pic with one on the right wing. (They blink very fast when moving outside look.)

...

What can that be?

That looks like a stray nav light. I tried the FSX version of the AH Seafire package & noticed a few bugs with some of the variants. Not sure what causes them.

I've been using the FS2004 version for a while now. I tweaked the prop texture myself.
