REX Installer wont run. (Read 71 times)

I just bought REX on DVD.  Copied all the files to a temp  folder on C- drive  as instructed. The installrex.bat file will not open or run on either of my computers. Windows 7-64bit or my XP-Pro. Any ideas? Maybe bad installer that came on the disk?
