I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder but Suhkoi's Su-27 "Flanker" is the one of the loveliest aircraft to grace the skies. From the first time we met many years ago, I was in love:

Hope you enjoyed the screens.

OOOH!  I rember that plane!  I remember I downloaded it for FS2004 once, and thought it was really cool!  I had never used an airplane with an "afterburner" before.  (as a matter of fact, I didn't even know what it was axcept it gave the plane extra go-go juice, and that I couldn't figure out how to turn it on Roll Eyes)
Though, sadly, when I re-installed my FS2004, I lost it, and couldn't re-find it.  All I could remember was the word Sukhoi, a bright, saturated blue ice camo paint, and what I thought was a strange looking nose. Cheesy Undecided

Could you please provide a link to the download?  (The one you got, not the FS2004 version please)

Daube and FoxThree, thank you. Glad you enjoyed them. Daube, I was playing around with Shade for those last two. It set an interesting atmosphere with the sun going down.

Club508, it's here in Simviation's files: Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker Package V2. To quote from the description: "This is the Su-27B/UB/Su-30MKK Package, originally for FS9/FS9.1 by Bill Wolfgen (Bear Studios). Adapted for FSX & uploaded by Braden Peters". Here's the direct link:
Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker Package V2 DOWNLOAD
. I don't think those skins come with it, though. Or maybe they do. I was playing around and adapting skins from another sim's version of this aircraft at one point (Bill Wolfgen made that very easy to do) and I've lost track of what are originals and what are adaptations.

Depends on the image. In the set, the first is Russia (FSX default) and the rest are Utah (near Salt Lake City). The singleton Su-34 is over Maui. I happened to be over it when I switched to the Su-34 for the screen.

Great shots.....awesome aircraft/s Cool Cool

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
