The GTX 580 is a very powerful card. There's absolutely no need to SLI unless you are gaming on multiple monitors.

I have had a pair of old 295s in my computer for a long time. When I bought them they were the top of the line so I tried them with FSX.

In fact I tried them in and out of SLI and did not see much difference in FPS.

No way did the 1 or 2 frames I gained justify 2 cards @$750.00 each.

SLI has been great for other games but it is my understanding FSX has never been optimized for SLI/Crossfire.
