How you doing all. I just got a new PC with windows 7.

Is there anyway to acess all files and folders without setting permisson for every folder individually?

I already checked show hidden files and folders, but they all say acess denied when I try to open them, I learned how to set the permisson to open some files, but do I really have to go thru each file to gain acess.

Thanks in advance for any info.

The program files & program files (x86) areas are classed as "read-only". Right click on the areas you want & go to properties. Then un-tick the box read-only. If it is a large area it will take a few minutes to apply.

Or you could disable UAC but then programs could have full control & it wouldn't ask you for permission for them changes to your computer.

Thanks Andy, I'm going to check that out, and I'll keep in mind about the UAC, thanks.
