there's something I still don't know , I ask and nobody tells me
Do the 747 and the 737 NORMALLY open those doors? I mean without adding the entries [exit] 3 or 4 ???
did Daube and other felows had those doors available? he also though that that wasn't the FSX737-800 because of the doors

I'll try to test again tonight, by taking a closer look to the archive that contains my backup copy of the original 737.
There ARE three exits defined in the original aircraft.cfg, that's for sure. It's the "number of exits" that I can't remember...
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

I run FSX SP2
I started with pristine default aircraft and .cfg's and both the 737 and 747 had......
[exits]
number_of_exits = 2
This only opened the front main exits, <Shift+E> and the cargo doors, <Shift+E, 2>. This is the way it's alway been.
After edit to 'number_of_exits = 3', <Shift+E, 3> opens all remaining exits (except for the over wing emergency exits on the 737).
At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation. Igor Sikorsky

You mean this, correct?

Yes, that's correct on the 737
737-With 'number_of_exits=3' all 4 pax doors and 2 cargo bays open. The over-wing emergency exits don't open.
On 747, with 'number_of_exits=3', all visible doors and cargo bays open.
At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation. Igor Sikorsky

No. As I said earlier the default number of exits for the B737_800 & the B747_400 is 2. Those doors did not open until I changed the number to 3.

I can now confirm that by default, my 737 had 3 exits defined in the [exits] section, but the parameter number of exits was set to 2 !
And it's exactely the same with the default 747.
Got bloom ?
Got mountains ?
Got damage ?

alrot,
Outstanding job on this upgrade! I just found the FMC and it's better than a recently purchased payware FMC/panel I got. About to add the VC to the POSKY model as well.
Any future upgrades to the other FSX default aircraft? The CRJ VC could use some tweaking.
