Continuing the Carribean-themed-sets-loosely-tied-together-by-lame-narrative from here: /yabb?num=1328739540

Ben Counter, his secretary and I spent a pleasant day and night on St Barts but eventually it was time to go. My two companions were both in a foul mood when I picked them up from the beach at 9 in the morning... not at all jolly like before. After Counter snarled a greeting his exhausted looking PA whispered me an apology 'I'm sorry... it's all the snow we've been having. He'll be alright in a day or two'. Snow? What snow?

...

The police had impounded our 'Miracle Goose' (as dubbed in the St Barts Herald) so we had to fly out by Winair. Counter announced curtly that we were going to Anguilla... and who am I to argue.

...

All this talk about white gold and snow, our mysterious cargo from Haiti and our disappearing Duke - it was enough to make one's head spin. Counter is one crazy guy, I thought, as we touched down at Walblake Airport in Anguilla.

...

Counter had business to attend to that day and very generously gave me time off... the next morning he had a special mission for me: 'Hire an ultralight, take these binoculars and see if you can spot a cargo ship not far off the coast. It's called the something Mersey. I might have something for you when you get back. Something you'll like...' Off I set in the buzzing flymo-windsurfboard hybrid into the dawn, head full of questions.

...

After swooping around a bit I finally found her, caked with rust and limping vaguely north. What was so special about that boat?

...

Mission accomplished I had a hawk of a time swooping over the island like a whale before heading back.

...

Will I get any answers in the final episode? Or will it be yet another pointless stream of gibberish with pictures of a different kind of plane? I can hardly wait.

Cheers

You're right - it takes a while to learn how to swoop like a whale RESPONSIBLY and EFFECTIVELY but once you've got it you can (as I mentioned) have a hawk of a time doing it.  Smiley
