I love it! I got it this weekend and flown about 12-13 hours so far...I have the Wilco Airbus a319,20,21 which are pretty similar to the A340/330 package

It took me awhile to get use to the Fly-By-Wire, at first I hated it of course but once you learn the airplane is great to fly!  Cool Not sure why so many people hate the Wilco Busses??? Maybe they were like me when I couldn't figure out how to fly them.  Wink

Don't forget the Nui... Wink

Try and book an A340 flight on Air Tahiti and you'll get a surprise! Air Tahiti Nui must be struggling at the moment - last year their A340 was seen doing a season of winter trooping flights to the (topical if you're Sean Penn) Falkland Islands, and then a summer of bringing British troops back from the middle east. Historically that's not a good sign for an airline! Enjoy the scheme while it lasts! Grin

Thanks  Cool

I know Air Tahiti is a whole different airline but I just thought everyone would know it was Nui because of the A340 lol. Air Tahiti is only a domestic airline flying props I believe.

Although I currently don't know the situation of how Air Tahiti Nui's business is lately, I know they have a small fleet of these big birds. Not many airlines fly into Tahiti though especially directly from the US, so I'm sure Air Tahiti Nui doesn't have to worry as much as some other airlines do. Just my guess. Wink

I live in Auckland.

I used to see the Air Tahiti Nui A340s quite often but haven't seen one in a while now. I think they might have stopped their Auckland route.

Looks like they still fly to Auckland ... http://www.airtahitinui.ca/services/routemap.asp

They have made their route map smaller though.

Lol! Grin Of the past 4 to do the contract, 2 had gone bust and one was kicked off for a while for having "flight planning issues". Never a good sign!  Smiley

As you say, they can't go bust, or everyone would have to go there on Twin Otters! Grin
