well , payware and freeware are essentially the same thing but you have to paid money for one of them 

that has to be add it in Panel.cfg made a copy tio backup the original file, open it with notepad
in
[Window Titles]

add this lines according to the last one

Window=GPS

then make this acording to the same number you gave above

[Window]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=456,378
position=8
visible=0
ident=GPS_PANEL
window_size= 0.5
window_pos= 0.000, 0.000

gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500,  0,0


then It should show here



or by pressing shift+3 or 4 or 5 or 6 depends what windows did you set it as I told you above

you have to put a number in that the number that follow the last one ,windows 01,windows02 ,03, 04 etc take a look the default 737-800 panel cfg and see how it is placed

unless you have missed the gauge fs9gps.gau this is not a guess ,it have to work unless you are still doing something wrong

assuming its a freeware let's do something fun ,give me the link of the airplane ,Ill download it and Ill do it for you 

it really isn't that hard take a look any of the default FSX aircraft panel.cfg
