I know that you are simply bursting to know what I had for my Supper last night..
...!
Wait no longer!
Pork Curry with Basmati Rice and French Fries (Chips!)...>>>
Slices of Roast Pork (from yesterdays roast Pork joint), cut into bite-sized chunks.
Small Onion, chopped.
Garlic, crushed.
Chillie, chopped.
Tomato, chopped.
Coconut milk.
Fresh Coriander, chopped.
Madras Curry Paste.
All gently sautéed in a small non-stick pan.
Basmati Rice. Washed under cold running water. Boiled for 8-10 minutes, and strained.
French Fries (Chips!), fried in Vegetable Oil for 10 Minutes.
All served on a HOT plate, with fresh, crusty, bread and butter rolls.
A Supper to die for, whilst watching some naff program on the television.
Paul...with a satisfied tummy!...
...!
...Oh...almost forgot..and a large glass of warm, Mulled Wine!....
...!

Ta Matt...

On the very rare occasion...
... that I get taken to a proper Indian Restaurant for a nice Curry meal, I find that nothing that I make compares to the real thing!
After one particularly delicious meal, I asked the Chef for the ingredients and method of cooking his amazing Curry...
..."its my secret"...he said, with a grin!....
...!
I experiment, but nothing so far matches the; "Proper Curry"!
I will need LOTS of Indian "stuff" in my Larder first...
(Including an Indian Chef?...Mrs. Patak?)...
...!

Have you guys ever tried Fijian fish curry? Awesome! Goes a treat with a couple of bottles of Spitfire or Bishops Finger
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
