Last week I practiced my ADF instrument flying skills in the default Baron... lots of grey mist but treated myself to a couple of nice flights in California.
Can anyone spot what I was doing wrong here? No, I bet you can't get it.
Complex aircraft meets uncomplex pilot.
Hmmm... strange terrain. Salt pans? Addon chaos? Who knows. I quite like the effect...
Pic 4 was the result of stabilising my approach wheels and flaps down a lot earlier than I normally would according to the instructions in Charles Wood's tute - on spotting the runway through the fog I hit G automatically (bad habit of mine) and it wasn't till I heard the crash and saw the sparks that I realised I'd put the gear back up again...whoops
Back into the mist for VOR practice with the Duke this week...
Have a good rest of the weekend!

Stunning shots!! What scenery is that and is that UTX's night lighting?
Love the way the light is hitting the river In number 3.

Those are amazing.
And as for #4 it gets me half the time.
.
It's really frustrating how atc never tells you
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Cheers guys! No special scenery, just UT and GEX and REX. California is great for flying as Fozzer says
