I followed all the instructions, here are two print screens of what's in the folder and whats in the cfg file.

Your first shot shows that you didn't follow the instructions correctly. However, if you follow my suggestion & paste a copy of Texture.cfg from the Airbus_A321 Texture folder into the Texture.SAS folder in your shot it will work.

It would have saved all this bother if the file had been configured like this in the first place. (Repainters please note.)

At least you will know how to do it next time.

Thank you, will give it a go! Smiley

I copied the texture cfg from the texture folder and put it in the SAS folder and every thing is still the same, I guess I need to start over again.

That's odd. I tried it before posting my suggestion & it works fine for me.

OK, I'll walk you through it using the author's instructions. This is how it's done in WinXP. I'm assuming the procedure is similar in Win7.

First of all open your default Airbus_A321 folder & delete the Texture.SAS folder.

When you've done that right-click on the Texture folder & select Copy from the drop-down menu.

Right-click in a clear space inside the Airbus_A321 folder & select Paste. You should now have a folder named Copy of Texture alongside all the other folders. Rename this folder Texture.SAS

Now select the files named A321_1_t.dds & Thumbnail.jpg from the downloaded SAS repaint & paste both files into your new Texture.SAS folder. Overwrite existing files when prompted.

That's it. You've already edited Aircraft.cfg so go & try it in FSX.

No it's not. This package applies only on the default A321.
For the other Airbus planes made by other teams, you must find other repaints that were made specifically for them.

For example, a repaint made for the default FSX Cessna C-208 will not work on the Cessna C-208 made by Carenado.

I know it's possible to download other aircraft for FSX but is it possible to download aircraft and make them be like all the default planes, moving around on the ground, flying etc without actually being in them?
