Let me see, in no particular order, except the top one is number one.

Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas Is You.

Whining children that cannot accept that no means NO!!!!!

Next doors dog barking at the drop of a hat.

Fireworks (bangers mainly) before or after 5th November and before or after 31st December.

Go Compare, Go Compare (close join first with Mariah)

Odd one to describe, but any thing that does the following in the same manner a dropped circular tin lid hits the floor and then dances in a circle, the noise cuts me in two.

Almost the same as above, anything that when put down bobbles back and forth and makes a similar noise to above.

Tony Blair's voice.

And;
A particular co-work when he starts a sentence with, "You know what I think"

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

The very first note of the tune that introduces the daily, annoying, British Sitcom on my Radio; "The Archers".... Smiley...!

Fortunately my thumb hovers over the "Off" button on my Remote, in readiness, and prevents it from modifying/destroying my brain!

Suffer, you lot out there!... Smiley....>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNEawM6vZf4

I hate the sound of a slamming car door more than anything.
Also the sound of the phone ringing (cell or land-line) bugs me.

The sound that most annoys me is the whooping that seems mandatory for theatre audiences nowadays. I've even noticed this awful habit creeping into classical concerts.

I believe this started some years ago when audiences of recorded TV shows were encouraged to whoop instead of whistling to prevent overloading the sound equipment. At least, that's what the stage manager told us when we were part of the captive audience to some obscure TV show during a visit to a film studio in Florida.

Ha ha, I had a college prof long ago who would put his hands in his pockets and jingle his change while lecturing.  Not sure which was more annoying, his change jingling or his lectures, tho.

To have to listen to that 3x a week for 4 months.  Chee.

And as for whooping audiences, yeah, there oughta be a law.

And hey, what about whatever music they play at the food store?  Whoa, are we in a dance hall here?  I'm tryin' to think food.

I tried demanding equal time by suggesting a little Black Sabbath, but noooo.
