I'm using the Saitek software for a joystick, a yoke, and a throttle quadrant.  I was unable to initially program the throttle, prop, and mixture controls, so I left those keys assigned in FSX.  I haven't had any issues with this setup, but I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how to do it properly.  Something about the "banding" it uses just confuses me.  Most of my internet searches for pointers end with "You should use FSUIPC instead." I'm reluctant to purchase more software while my current setup is working. Any thoughts?
