Hi Patrick, Yes you will need to unzip the files and save those to a folder. As soon as you unzip them go straight to the 'read me' file and read it. You may come accross RAR files also from time to time. A good free program for converting files is IZArc.

(Click the download button on the right the one on the left is a PDF creator software?)
Good luck!

Hi Patrick, If the read me file is unhelpful have a look at this page. It tells you how to install the plane to fsx. Also what operating system do you have XP, Windows 7 Vista etc.
If you need anymore help just ask. The folks here are really helpful & friendly so we'll help you with your questions. Smiley

thank you for helping me. I did what andy said but I can unzip now with the program but I look at the planes files and they are not like the ones that are already on fsx. the ones I download dont have all the folders like the original ones. I have windows vista on my computer that i am on now.

If you're using a 3rd party program to unzip the files you'll have to find and set the option to 'unzip with folders' or 'include folders'.

The easiest way to unzip in Windows (XP, Vista, 7) is to right click on the zip file and select 'Extract'. It will automatically 'unzip with folders'.

You can also view (an read) the contents of a zip file before extracting it by double clicking on the zip file.
