Hi guys, I hope you have had a good holiday. I have a problem with setting up a pair of new Saitek Pro flight throttle quadrants that my son received for a present. He is running FSX with a CH Products flight yoke and Saitek rudder pedals, but we cant seem to get the throttles to program up to work independent engines despite the controls both appearing in the asset lists of Windows (XP) and FSX - all the devices are usb. Saiteks manual leaves me feeling completely uneducated, and that maybe if I was Steven Hawking I may have a chance, but I am a mere mechanical engineer. I called Saiteks support line but despite a long call, they were not entirely helpful and supposed to email me supplementary instructions within 20 minutes - 18 hours ago! I have absolutely no idea what the Magic software is supposed to do, except make me feel inadequate in front of my 10 year old boy when I fail to understand it! Can somebody please help me regain hero status with my boy again with a method of getting all these different controls to work together in peace, harmony and synchronicity?
I am a real newbie to this in real terms so take it easy on me!
Thanks

You may need to install a program "FSUIPC" to assign the throttles for a multiple engine setup.....

There's a free version but it has limited functionality, and for multiple engines setup you may need to purchase the full version. I'm sure SOMEONE on this forum could advise further, but it appears that you must spend limitless hours doing endless research to find such a simple answer.
I hope this helps, good luck!
