I finally decided to re-install FSX. It was freezing every time I tried to fly. I wanted to get rid of everything, add ons and all, because I think one of them was the root of the problem. I though I was saving my Logbook but I can't find it. I know where the folder is but the things in there are mostly .java files. Maybe I don't know what I am looking for. Also would it be possible to import my FS9 Logbook into FSX?   Sad

Tell us what operating system are you running, and what  your PC specs are, you'll get more replies. FSX can run pretty decent on an average PC, but "Axcell" can push a good PC to it's limits. Meanwhile when you do a reinstall, you have to make sure that ALL FSX files are gone from your system before you reinstall.
FSX will build 4 different folders when you install, the main program, one in your "my documents", and depending on your OS at least 2 more. You have to remove all of them for a clean install. Also a good registry cleaner is needed to clean out any FSX files in the reg ( I use CCleaner, which you can find here http://www.cnet.com/1770-5_1-0.html?query=ccleaner&tag=srch ). After you uninstall do a search for any other FSX files,  run the cleaner, and just install FSX first and try running it before you add axcel.

PS, I always back up my logbook after every flight just in case.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. My system is as follows

Intel i7-940
EVGA Geforce GTX 285
Asus P6T Deluxe v2
Corsair TX850W Power
Corsair xms3 memory 12GB
Zalman CNPS 9900 Cooler

I shouldn't be having any problems. Before it freezes it is always running just the way you would want it to.
