I almost didn't take the 'bug down to New Zealand and WHAT a mistake that would have been!

All I can say is it's breath taking! Straight up the most amazing place I've ever been flying.
There's fjords followed by valleys, followed by mountains and more valleys, it's a fast jet pilots heaven.

If you haven't flown there yet I recommend you get your self and a fast jet to Queenstown Airport NZQN take off and enjoy the amazing landscape!

Anyway here are a few shots I took there.

Seriously can you believe this landscape!  Cheesy
...

This is the approach to Queenstown Airport in Frankton, I honestly can't think of a more beautiful place to live!
...

For these shots I'm using REX and it looks incredible so I can only imagine how amazing this place would look with the ORBX South Island addon!!!! Cheesy

This was by far the most fun I've had on this world tour so far and I really do recommend that you try flying on the South Island of New Zealand it's just out of this world.
Oh anyone who spots a hobbit gets and extra ten points.  Wink

Anyway thanks for looking  Smiley Comments and Criticisms are always appreciated  Cool
Next I'm off to Wellington to try landing in it's infamous windy weather! Then is back up to Sydney and off over the Pacific.

Great shots. It looks even better in real life. Unfortunately you chose the wrong plane. The views would have been better in a piper cub. There is some really great scenery for nz here. I’m going to post some shots of my local area, Hawkes Bay soon. The scenery there is great in real life, haven't flown there in the sim yet. Smiley

I think it depends what your into I much prefer seeing scenery whiz by at 300knots than toddling along in a Cub.

That maybe a British thing though because most of our valleys are full are RAF/USAF jets practicing low level flying!

This video is a pretty good demonstration of what I'm talking about  Wink

Amazing shots!  You really caught the scenery!
And I am SO going flying there! Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked
That's exactly what I'd call paradise!  I simply LOVE flying things through mountains, following rivers, etc.!  I think I'll go have me some fun in my new upgraded C208B. Smiley

And as of my preference, I really don't tend to care so long as it's not going so fast you have to overstress the aircraft to follow something and that it atleast has enough power to follow a river up a mountain. Smiley
