If anyone has used this ZD Soft Screen Recorder I'd be very grateful for their opinion.
I was going to use Fraps but would love to know if the ZD is less greedy?

Sorry for the dumb question but what are you trying to record exactely ?
If it's for screenshots, then I don't know.
If it's for videos, then you might want to give a try to the latest BETA version of FS Recorder, which provides an export to AVI videos. I haven't tried it though.

I've made a WW2 airfield, RAF Ibsley, & there's a local attempt to restore the control tower, which is unique by being built in concrete.  I've been asked to record some flying over & around Ibsley, to give viewers an idea of what it would have looked like around 1942-5. 

I tried Fraps but my Awd-It machine isn't up to it so I got another better one, & just wondered if there are other programmes available?  I'll look at Recorder.
