You will need either Dxtbmp (freeware) or imagetool (I believe that's part of the SDK, but I believe it can be downloaded separately)

Then you will need a good graphics editor, like Paintshop pro, or Photoshop to edit the actual textures.  There's a freeware graphic editor that is supposed to be comparible to either of those two, but the name escapes me. Tongue

Yes,it is and also Fs9-sdk's image tool is quite diiferent than FSX-SDK version.

Its essential to have FSX-SDK imagetool to make a repaint and compress to dds dtx 5
