Hi Guy's. Needing help again. Can I assign a button on my Yoke to respond to ATC so as I don't have to keep leaning across the consul to hit Button 1? Hope this is understandable. Kind regards Peedy (Peter).
P.S. What is the Auto brake and should I be using it ?

ATC:

Providing that you have a spare button your yoke..yes!

I have assigned a button on my Joystick to do the same job...

...ATC window on/off... Smiley...!

The response to ATC will still require the use of Buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, etc, depending upon the request!

Hi Fozzer (Paul). Thank's for the prompt reply. I know how to do what you have suggested it's the 1,2  bit I woluld like to accomplish. I suspect the answer is that I can't do this but I was hoping there may have been a 1 for all ATC reply button. Regards Peedy. (Peter)

About the autobrake:

All it does is activate the wheel brakes at touchdown. "2" is a good setting unless it's a short runway in which case you should use 3 or 4.

I open the ATC widow on my yoke, but I still need to hit "1"...

So there's no way to assign key board button 1 to reply to ATC, since that's usually the most used?

I believe it deploys the spoilers too, when armed as well as braking, no?

No, the auto-brakes only control the brakes.
