Bummer, the site he states in the read me note to get the gauges for the cockpit from is no longer a good link, and even though he did a outstanding job on the designs and all the views, this thing is useless to me without gauges, I got none in the VC or 2D but everything else shows up fine....somebody needs to tell him to update the read me note......

You're wrong! bout all this!

Its me who made that aircraft ,and I have NOT AUTHORIZE Avsim to redistribute the model ..

I made the gauges exept the FMC and are included in the zip file of my site FSND and Simviation ONLY..

1st off they don't have your model far as I know. 2nd I downloaded your model and the gauges didn't show up for me, now all I did was search for the same gauges you list in the read me note because the web address you list in the note is NO GOOD so chill out! Besides, stop being so rude in the note about nobody asking you questions if they cant figure stuff out dude, if your not willing to help and state what to do step by step 1 2 3 then don't get mad when somebody looks elsewhere for help. You clearly state don't bother you with questions, search is our best friend, which personally I felt was rather rude of you, your ah good designer dude but don't let it swell ya head up talking to people like you do. I was gonna ask you 1st till I read all that crap about don't bother you!!Sad

Cool shot, Alrot.......thanks for sharing Cool

@Capt. "D".......Seriously? You're talking to the man who created this. He didn't have to make this model, let alone be generous enough to release it to us as freeware. I have this AC and I downloaded it from here at SimV.....it works fine including all gauges Smiley

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

I don't care who he is Chuck, you get respect by giving respect and for what ever reason the gauges did not work on mines and I got it right off his site, now if he makes statements about don't bother him, then he don't need to be getting mad at anybody that's giving him props by downloading his model in the 1st place, what he NEEDS to do is search just like I did and find out who uploaded his gauges to AVSIM and get out my face about it period!

and for the last , I'm not mad , this is for free and so the other models

That's a terrific shot Alex, hope he wasn't planning on taking off in that  Shocked

Capt D, we support our freeware developers here at SimV.  If you don't like something, make a polite suggestion or leave the man alone.  It's FREE.  He can be rude about his product if he wants.  What's going to happen?  A user is going to return it?  If you approach them with nice attitude you'll get a better response.

There's a reason there is a shortage of FREEWARE developers, they are sick of putting hours and hours of their time into developing an aircraft and then listening to freeware users whine about a missing gauge or a glitch in the paint.  It's not worth their time unless they are getting paid for it.

Alex (and Brett) has produced some of the finest freeware available out there, and it is done exclusively for SimV, that is why he questioned why Avsim had his gauges.

Don't be rude to our freeware developers.   Angry

It always amazes me that freeware developers put in the astronomical hours of work that they do on aircraft, scenery, gauges, and other stuff, and then simply GIVE their efforts away to the flightsim community.  For that, we should all really accept those gifts as what they are.... GIFTS.

Alrot, .... thanks for the models that you have contributed to the field over the past few years, and for the uploads that you have given to SimV to share with others.

best,

.............john
