Only took me three tries to get a catch my first time. And I'm no hot shot since I do it wrong(but still successfully), but here's how I do it in a F/A-18.
You hold about 130-150 knots and about 200-400 ft.
At 2 nm from the carrier, full flaps and reduce to holding 130 knots and just hold a level flight at about 150ft.
0.2-0.1 nm, reduce throttle to 0-25% and pull up VERY slightly. Wait about 10 seconds after reducing throttle full throttle because you'll probably catch or miss right about then.

But basically, forget the "ball". Just let it flash red the whole time, but make sure you read your instuments. Wink

Some advice is:
Remember how chuck put the default hornet vc in this plane? He did it for a good reason because you see, when in outside view you completely lose perception and can't tell where the glide slope is Sad

. Even when landing on a normal runway when in the cockpit you have 2 red and two yellow lights(aka on the glide slope) When you switch to exterior view the lights are all messed up. Happy carrier landings Cheesy

What kind of aircraft is that. and does somebody knows a good Fighter jet Freeware. Except for the F-35,F-16,F22 and the harrier???

It's a Dassault Mirage Rafale.

There's a SAAB Draken, Mirage 2000-5, Westland Wyvern e.t.c all those are groundbreaking freeware. And if you look hard and know what to look for, You have 100's of top notch planes. I discovered all the above by accident Grin
